What's often written on the bag is "Potassium & Iron" along with "soil conditioner". Ignore that: while those qualities are important, greensand is so much more than just that. As one of several good rock powders on the market today, it is one of the best sources of 30+ important trace minerals (there's really 70 present in this rock powder)

Application rates:
For adding to the soil prior to planting: according to this source:

2020 UPDATES:
Black Hen 3-2-3 is no longer manufactured.
Our research reveals that Espoma Organic composted chicken manure 3-2-3 is pure, processed chicken manure fertilizer, and not significantly diluted with other fillers.
2018 UPDATES:
Diamond-R 3-2-3 is no longer manufactured.
For the time being, our research reveals that Black Hen 3-2-3 is from the same source until it changes. Be careful to buy the bags that say 3-2-3, not 2-3-2.
